Repairing rust spots on a car?

Sonya Volcko: in case you have a drill get a million of those sanding disc that is going on a drill and use stick on sandpaper that sticks to the disc. grind the spots sparkling right down to the metallic, positioned spot putty over the pits, enable it dry solid and sand it down solid with a sanding block. you will be able to make a sanding block out of a splash bit 2x4. as quickly because it,s sanded comfortable primer it, enable it dry and paint it.

Rose Krouse: unless you want to see it come back year after year, take it to a professional, they really are not that much considering all the time you'll have invested. Is it a car you care about? if not just buy a cheep sand blaster and a can of cheep paint and hack away

Darcie Peraha: sand it back if its only surface rust, prime it and paint it.Simple.Your colour code for the paint should be on your identity plate under the bonnet

Jonelle Eligio: Get a System Sampler from KBS Coatings. It has all three ! steps to stop the rust. After you have treated the area with the KBS System Sampler, you can use your touch up paint.http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-System-Sampler-P91...
