I have herd so called Martial Artist on this sight who say that they
have been doing martial arts for 10 or 20 years saying that Capoeira
is not an effective martial art. (This is a topic I may start) If you
are looking at the "Capoeira" that jumps in the air and flips and goes
real fast, then I would have to agree with them but I don't think that
they have ever seen true Capoeira de Angola done by someone who knows
more than just how to "play the game"

Are bangs in style right now?

answers1: Yuss : D <br>
From your local downtown scenesters and hipsters to business women to
teenagers to basically anyone.
answers2: Not seeing straight bangs. I am seeing bangs off to the side
or hanging over one side of the face as they are trying to get the
bangs to grow out and some are cut that way. However it is what works
for your face and style.

Should i change my style ?

answers1: Girls don't like you to be any certain style. A good person
who you would want to be in a relationship with should like you for
who you are, not who you are trying to be. A relationship isn't based
on what you look like or what style you are trying to be. Personally i
think "emo" kids are in the same boat as punk kids and most of the
style choices in both can be tweaked and exchanged. Emo is more of a
state of mind than a style at all. But, besides that, just be you.
Wear what you want, and you think is comfy and looks good. Me
personally one day i may look like a prep and the next day a scene
kid. thats just how i am. im not a poser. i just wear what i think is
cute and what i like. but im dating a skater kid who wears the same
type of skinny jeans and the same kind of tee shirts every day.

What do you define as beauty?

answers1: we live in a society where they make you beleive that tons
of make up a tight body add a little here take some off there is
beauty.. we fall victims of propaganda with all their products its all
business. we are brainwashed by infomercials and commercials about
what beauty really is. <br>
<br>
i think everyone is beautiful without all those products. i wear make
up from time to time usually eyeliner and lip gloss and thats it. but
you cant really tell when im not wearing any make up at all.. natural
beauty is the best thats the one we all were born with why enhance
something so beautifull.
answers2: I see beauty in everything and you should too. I HATE it
when people define beauty as being anorexic. Celebrities are putting
really bad influences on young adults and teenagers. Its because of
them people think this way.
answers3: It depends. Of course, if you add the words "inner" to it,
than it would e whats on the inside, but beauty in general is just how
you look. Don't believe me? Then why is it that most beauty questions
on yahoo answers are about enhancing how you look. <br>
I thinkbeauty is not being skinny, but an avrage healthy weigh spread
through the entire body. with healthy skin. BAsically, I thnik beuty
should be natural and healthy
answers4: A person that will accept all of you and cares about you
thats a inner beauty like a friend or a parent or something <br>
<br>
An outer beauty can be a attractive man or woman. But I think a
natural beauty is the best!

what is beauty?

answers1: Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. <br>
Of course I'm beautiful.
answers2: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Yes, in my mothers eyes.
answers3: everything is beautiful <br>
only some eyes appreciate it <br>
<br>
<br>
Yes I believe I am Beautiful, I have a wonderful boyfriend, good
friends, and a big family. I hear it allot. In my eyes everything is
BEAUTIFUL
answers4: Beauty is undefinable. However, beauty can be seen by the
human eyes by learning how to appreciate things. God made the world
beautiful.
answers5: Beauty is what makes us smile. <br>
<br>
Me beautiful? I think I have my days.
answers6: being a good person, its who you are, usually you can see
the most beautiful people in the world and they are cold as ice. and
yes it sounds cheesy but its true. if someone loves you they find you
beautiful. it all depends on how people look at beauty. to some people
i am beautiful, to some im not. but what does it matter? as long as
your happy with yourself
answers7: Well, That is kinda hard to say...Because first of all
everyone has their "type" of beauty, like everyone says beauty is in
the eye of the beholder. Plus internal beauty plays a bog part in
ouward beauty...Am I beautiful?? I would have to say yes (good genes
lol) but I'm not STUCK UP at ALL! I think EVERYONE if beautiful in
there own way=) <br>
<br>
~.!.!.!.!.Happy Holidays.!.!.!.!.~
answers8: Beauty is something that is pleasing to the eye. Not
everyone can be physically beautiful, but everyone can have internal
beauty. I think being beautiful on the inside is more important than
being beautiful on the outside....and inner beauty amplifies outer
beauty anyways! <br>
<br>
As for whether I am beautiful....I don't know. I have some assets that
I think are okay: I like that I'm tall, and I think I have nice hair
(long and wavy and soft). My hubby says I am stunning, but he's just a
trifle biased! lol One of these days I will have to post an actual pic
instead of an avatar and you can judge for yourself. <br>
But I truly hope that who I am inside is beautiful, and that is a
question better asked of my family and friends. I know my faults too
well to give an objective answer. <br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
***EDIT*** Sis - I think you are spot on. It is also a feeling, isn't
it? Know what's weird? I feel my most beautiful when I am really
pregnant, and I seem to get alot of compliments then too. Feeling
beautiful goes a long way towards improving one's looks, because then
they have confidence and a spring in their step, and that is
attractive.
answers9: Well beauty just is. <br>
<br>
Beauty can be a number of things because it is different things to
different people. <br>
For example, to some a sunset can be beautiful, but others see it as
just the end of a day full of wasted chances or efforts. <br>
<br>
Beauty is relative. <br>
<br>
Am I beautiful? <br>
I believe so. <br>
My husband seems to think so. <br>
My Mom says I am. <br>
So then the answer must be, "Yes, I am beautiful."
answers10: i think beauty is beauty of spirit .asnd soul it depends on
your personalitty and how you treat pple and how u behave infront of
them..and it is your mind how beautifil things u thing about?and it
is your heart and why it beats for(sure it beats to make you live but
it beats too to make you love and make you love pple) <br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
yes your heart ,brain,or soul cant all be seen but they could be felt
by others who talk to u ,,and how you r such a kind human being is
beauty too <br>
*how lovely in your feeling ans sences is called beauty too <br>
*what u feel toward other (full of love)is beauty <br>
*you should always know that u r beautiful and not to be concited
about it because everyone in tha world is beatiful and even if that
person was evil sure he has a small part in his heart full of love
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
i am beautiful because i have some of wat i told u about wish u luck
answers11: I feel beauty is more of a feeling then a look.

why is important wisdom than beauty?

answers1: Beauty is borrowed and will fade in time,but wisdom on the
other hand is yours to keep.
answers2: Beauty and Wisdom: the difference between slavery and freedom <br>
<br>
One's beauty is rated high or low depending on another's opinion. To
value beauty above all else, then, is to become a slave to the
opinions of others. <br>
<br>
Wisdom is the capacity to see your own thoughts are they arise so that
you do not get trapped into believing every darn thing you think. To
value wisdom above all else, then, is to free yourself from slavery to
unintentional thoughts.
answers3: you will lose your looks and beauty it does not last forever
then what where as wisdom lasts forever

Does body wash clean your body like bar soap?

answers1: Yay physique wash! i exploit Oil of Olay and it works super,
no scum like popular cleansing soap and shop me clean and delicate.
Yeah, I additionally use dove bar cleansing soap, it extremely is have
been given moisture in it and it extremely is remarkable on your face
and physique. Plus bar cleansing soap like zest bypass away you all
dry and scaley, and scummy. besides that's the way i've got faith, and
protecting your physique moist is a assure that your destiny epidermis
should not be previous and dry and crinkley. I consistently us Pond's
chilly cream and Pond's face purifier, works miracles on my previous
epidermis. lol
answers2: yes of course. except ive heard body wash is better, because
it doesnt dry out your skin like bars of soap do, and you smell better
with body wash :)
answers3: yea, i have this body wash from bath &body. usually i use
the soap first just to be really clean, than i put on the body wash.
so im extra clean and smelling good.

whats more important - pretty face OR pretty body ?

answers1: id want a kick *** body . sure i dont like my face now or if
i had an uglier one but u can put make up on :P and plus i rather have
a hot body for summer time or if i wanted to have sex with my bf id
want to have a hot body xD but personality wins over either
answers2: They're equally as important, depending on how much shallow
importance you attach to ones outer casings.
answers3: Preety face because people are always looking at youre face,
not youre body
answers4: Pretty face and a healthy body. Because you don't have to
have a perfect 'pretty body' to be attractive however if you don't
have a healthy body it will make even the pretties of faces ugly.
answers5: Its hard to say. boys will comment on a girl's body, but
then again, they won't flirt with her unless she has a pretty face.
But then again you could be obese with a pretty face. but from my
standpoint, i would have to say a pretty face.
answers6: pretty face, but all in all, I fall for a good personality in people.
answers7: Pretty face, followed by great personality, followed by nice body
answers8: pretty face definitely! if a guy thought you were attractive
face-wise then he wouldnt care about ur body. but then again guys are
pigs so they might just want ur body.
answers9: I've seen some beautiful/pretty faces on some really fat
people, and then I've seen some pretty bodies with a butt ugly face
attached to them... our "package" is a facade that fades (and it WILL
fade) so <br>
better not go on appearances in realtionship to "pretty". Just so
theyre neat in their appearance and have a great personality.
Personality and character are FAR MORE "pretty" to a person.
answers10: While a pretty face is a nice addition, I prefer having a
kick-*** body. Y'know, perf. curves, smooth skin with the occasional
beauty mark ;D

is it possible exchange bodies?

answers1: By taking hallucinatory drugs.
answers2: if only your brain could live long enough then sure why not
answers3: I want to exchange bodies with Lady Gaga <br>
She can have mine.
answers4: did you know you get a new body every decade, well you do
get one in a sense your cells are wearing down and are not replicated
as perfect as the previous ones.
answers5: I don't see why not. We just haven't reached that medical
status yet. <br>
<br>
We give people new hearts, kidneys, artificial limbs, etc. It might
happen very soon.

Our bodies are vehicles?

answers1: That is amazing, but what is the question?
answers2: Our bodies are like vehicles in the sense, <br>
that, if I am not "fit to drive," I'm still fit to walk. (%-)
answers3: The Mind is where the Soul/Spirit resides and <br>
is not to be confused with the Brain which is physical. <br>
<br>
Yes, the body is a shell/vehicle. <br>
When one dies the silver cord is severed and the Spirit <br>
goes home. <br>
However, when a person has an OBE <br>
(Out of Body Experience) the Spirit leaves the body <br>
but the silver cord is linked to the body and the Mind. <br>
While the Mind is away from the body one can still <br>
perceive of themselves having a body... <br>
<br>
You'll Know if you have one because when you return <br>
to your body you feel like you weigh a ton.
answers4: Yes and the mind has to drive the car securely, but there
are many out there who are very insecure drivers, so they drive into
others, so after a while their car ends up in the scrapyard.
answers5: your definition of soul is required for a significant
response from me. "soul" has numerous denotations, some more accurate
than others. <br>
<br>
the vehicle idea is reasonably analogous, yes. <br>
<br>
my addition, each human beings has more than one such vehicle. each
has many vehicles, each consisting of vibration frequency bandwidths,
i.e. constructed of the matter constituting the many planes and
subplanes of human existence. the physical matter vehicle is the only
one solely sensed with the physical matter visual organ. <br>
<br>
another addition. sometimes not much more than brain is in control.
it is a matter of degree of use of will, for purpose of self control.

What makes a great body puncher?

answers1: Body punching is a lost art. 95% of today's fighters don't
go to the body enough. Did you see last weeks Friday night fights?
Holt actually did go to the body early and got a sweet knockdown from
it. <br>
<br>
My favorite body puncher was probably Micky Ward. <br>
<br>
Two of my favorite body shot KO's where Ward over Sanchez. Which we
relived in the move "The Fighter" and BHop knocking out Oscar.
answers2: i think mike tyson was quite a good body puncher
answers3: 1. I think part of what makes a great body puncher is simply
going for the body. There are many great punchers who maybe could have
been renowned for body shots if they only threw some here and there!
Ali wasn't a power puncher, but he knocked out some tough guys yet
almost NEVER went for the body. That seems crazy given how smart he
was everywhere else. I think the longer, rangier guys McClellan
generate alot of swing and leverage into their shots, and probably aim
to punch a hole straight through their opponent, so their fist sinks
right in. Galaxy was simply a very, very powerful hitter who usually
targeted the body. If Julian Jackson had targeted the body that much
he'd most likely have scored plenty of body shot KO's. <br>
<br>
2. Hearns isn't remembered enough for his lung busting left shots to
the body. The noise it made when when his left sunk into James
Shuler's middle was sickening. Another MASSIVELY underrated body
puncher is Orlando Canizales, who I'm abit of a fanboy of. Fitzsimmons
is my favourite of the guys who were renowned purely for their body
attack. <br>
<br>
1. Ruby Rob's KO to become heavyweight champion over Corbett. <br>
<br>
2. Orlando Canizales' at 9:59 into this video: <a
href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upua67GMPSY"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upua67GMP...</a>
<br>
<br>
3. Mickey Ward over Sanchez <br>
<br>
4. There's a great Ezzard Charles body shot KO at 2:09 into this video
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENjJBizFnb4"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENjJBizFn...</a>
<br>
<br>
5. Even though the fight ends with head shots, it was becase of
McCallums relentless body punching that he could put Watson away. <a
href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy5NiBY1tFM"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vy5NiBY1t...</a>
<br>
<br>
TONGUE-CLICK!
answers4: Very difficult question to answer sir as you have different
styles from different fighters that were all great body punchers like
the ones you mentioned above. With J.C. Chavez, it was his
aggressiveness and ability to work his way inside of his opponent and
then ripping hard hooks to the body which effectivively slows down a
fast boxer. With Khaosai Galaxy it was also because of his
aggressiveness behind a southpaw stance before delivering those
vicious lefts to the body. Andre Ward and Gerald McClellan used their
boxing ability to actually set up the delivery of their crunching body
punches. One of the best body shots I ever saw was when Roy Jones Jr.
knocked out Virgil Hill with a great shot to the body and also Bernard
Hopkins vicious body shot that knocked out Oscar De La Hoya. These
guys were not necessarily known for body punching but it shows how
effective it can be if utilized correctly at the right time. <br>
<br>
My favorite body puncher of all time was Rocky Marciano who hurt you
wherever he hit you. He had a very short reach so it was a necessity
for him to work his way inside and bombard the body. He even burst
open the blood vessels in Roland LaStarzas's arms in their 2nd fight.
Also I need to mention Joe Louis and his fight with Max Schmeling
(2nd) when he ripped a body shot taht made Max scream in agony and
caused major damage before the enevitable. Also need to mention the
famous solar plexus punch of Bob Fitzsimmons that won him the title
from Corbett. <br>
<br>
My top 5 body punchers are: <br>
<br>
1. Rocky Marciano <br>
2. Henry Armstrong <br>
3. J.C. Chavez <br>
4. Khaosai Galaxy <br>
5. Mike McCallum <br>

Was olive skin or middle eastern skin color, was it a mutation that spread?

answers1: The earliest homo sapiens had black skin to deal with the
harsh sun in Africa. All other skin tones are mutations.
answers2: You raise a good question but your thinking may be a bit
flawed. Read the Song of Solomon. The Shulamite maiden was an
Israelite and she was also black. The apostle Paul was a Jew, yet he
had red hair. Jesus was not the skinny, sickly person that the
Catholics portray either though. He was a carpenter in the first
century C.E. He knew what hard work was. He was probably a very good
looking, well built man. But as for his skin color, it would be hard
to say for sure. But it is very possible he was olive skinned. The
Bible simply doesn't say. His looks were not important, his message
was.

do you think CANCER guys have nice skin?

answers1: ya coz there born in summer so they are tanned and have brown eyes
answers2: I don't think astrology gets so specific and accurate in
terms of physical appearance.. I don't know the sign of every person
I've met, but I know ONE Cancer guy with nice skin and nice eyes,
which doesn't prove much
answers3: No. Especially if theyre in their teens.
answers4: People with the same star sign don't have similar
looks....you can't generalize that way....it's like saying all
gemini's have huge feet, or Leo's have good teeth....doesn't work that
way
answers5: I'm a Libra rising and I know how to write.
answers6: Having skin cancer is nothing to joke about.
answers7: Hell yeah, you are true! All Cancer guys I have met had
creole (tanned) skin and beautiful, dark expressive eyes! They are
cute but a bit shy, but thats not a problem at all! <br>
<br>
Hope this helps. x
answers8: I never wanted to get close enough to one in order to look
answers9: I'm pretty sure ever single guy in the world born between
june 22-july 22 doesn't have nice skin & eyes :/
answers10: Yeah because, the day you were born on affects your skin
and eyes. <br>
<br>
jk. Stop generalizing.

Why is Michael Jackson's skin white?

answers1: Its called Monobenzone (Monobenzyl hydroquinone ether) it
permanently destroys melanocites (the cells that promote skin color).
<br>
<br>
There is also hydroquinone 2% in the forms of topical creams. <br>
<br>
As of what he used to bleach it no one knows for sure, but from the
fact that hes always hiding away from the sun, I suspect it wasn't
hydroquinone 2 %. <br>
<br>
People who work in chemical labs although white can have skin
discoloration also, resulting from the handling of depigmenting
agents. <br>
<br>
There are several substances that can temporarily bleach skin, such as
arbutin, and vitamin c in excess combined with L-gluthathione. <br>
<br>
As of the illness he claims to suffer from (vitiligo) I don't think
its true as you can see how he gradually changed skin tone over the
years. Vitiligo is characterized for the elimination of the
melanocites by cells in the body as they are identified as foreign
cells. Thus the result would occur in discoloration patches, not
gradually. <br>
<br>
Plus, how many people have had their skin color changed? In some
countries such as Jamaica, this is a scary phenomenon, same as Africa.
Just Look at lil Kim, shes definitely getting the Michael Jackson
look.
answers2: He Chippes His Skin
answers3: His skin is light because he has Vitiligo which is a skin
disease that attacks and destroys the pigment in the skin! <br>
<br>
♥♥We Love You Michael!!!!♥♥
answers4: there are a lot of reasons that I heard : <br>
<br>
1. cuz he got tired of being black..lol <br>
2. he can afford it...the f U c K e R is rich <br>
3. vitiligo(skin disease)...uhh riiiight <br>
4. for the attention....nod <br>
5. because he want to live out that song he made( doesn't matter if
your black or white) he looks white but his birth certificate says
black.....just made that one up
answers5: AS HE SAID HE HAS A SKIN DISEASE! MY A** PEOPLE SAID HE
BLEACHED IT. BUT REALLY DONT KNOW. ANYWAYS WHO KNOWS AND WHO CARES!!
<br>
SERIOUSLY WHY DO YOU CARE DO YOU WANT TO BE WHITE THAT'S WHY. BECAUSE
THAT'S A WEIRD QUESTION
answers6: He was black untill about 29. <br>
<br>
He was called big nose by his fam when he was younger and got it
narrowed - a white man nose! - when he was 26. <br>
<br>
At 27 he got another nose job and permantely tattoed eyeliner to his eyes. <br>
<br>
At 29 he does another surgeury and the guy blotches...within half year
he is white and blames it on vitiligo. He was also suposedly allegedly
taking female hormones to lose facial hair and mantain his 12 year old
voice. <br>
<br>
At 32 he tries to be a man again gets a chin job - butt chin.... - and
gets a a really manly jugged sqaure jawline. Oh and fuks up his nose
into tiny triangles. <br>
<br>
At 34 he goes pink and wears a fake nose - whooppee!!!! <br>
<br>
At 38 he does his jaw again more square and removes the butt in his chin!!! <br>
<br>
At 41 he redoes the chin and jaw so its small and cute, redoes the
nose and cheeks too. He now looks like a 21 yr old all over again
(white this time), but he also kinda looks like the joker. <br>
<br>
Oh and later on he drops is jaw and gets FACIAL HAIR???? anyhow it
just gets worse and worse from here on and he ends up looking like Ari
from the Planet of the Apes. <br>
<br>
YAY!!!! FUN!!! anyhow yeah from what I can undersand he removed all
the pigment from his skin through - bleaching?
answers7: he has a skin disorder caused by the liver which effects the
pigment,color of your skin.in most people it is a slow process that
leaves blotchy white color mark that spreed over time all over your
body until your all white.a friend of mine has it.he's all blotchy.but
with mike or Michael he has money for laser surgery to quicken the
process so he wont be so blotchy.an he doesn't look that bad.my friend
look as if he has birth marks down the side of his face from his cheek
bone that run down his neck on one side of his face.an one arm is
white as the other is dark. this disorder is more noticeable in
dark skin person than in white skin persons. so it very understanding
why someone would wont laser surgery to quicken the process.he is
famous an in front of the camera allot ,everyone wont's to look good
in front of the camera don't we? so does he.
answers8: Please ignore earlier answers about plastic surgery. <br>
<br>
The official story he released is that he suffers from a genetic
condition in which the pigment in his skin over time will break down
or fail. Kind of like other degenerative problems, except this one
affects skin pigment. This is most likely to be the case. <br>
<br>
The important thing to remember, is that he's Michael Jackson. At no
point would he have thought, "Maybe no-one'll notice if the world's
biggest pop star has a change in skin colour." lol. No matter how
crazy he's got, it's not something you would do hoping people wouldn't
notice, criticise or comment. <br>
<br>
Finally, I don't know if you can get an operation that changes your
skin colour! Seems very far fetched.
answers9: He claims to have a skin disorder, but it is common
knowledge that he has had an excessive amount of plastic surgery, so
more than likely he has been cosmetically lightened. He has changed
his look so drastically on purpose it is hard to actually attribute
his loss of color to a skin disease. If you go and look at his photos
through the years you can see the alterations he has had done. Plus
he is just plain bonkers anyhow so who would really know.
answers10: Originally he had a skin condition that I can't remember
the name of, wherein he was losing pigment in his skin in certain
spots. Basically he'd look like he was spotted white. So, being a
celebrity, he decided to just go FULL white, since there is no cure
for the disease. Of course the drugs he was taking to become white
were illegal, because he imported them from some far-off country. From
there he pretty much went crazy.

Dose it important for the oily skin or combination skin to use moisturizer?

answers1: Absolutely! For all skin types too. But you MUST NOT skip
this step. Trust me, try it out and see how your skin looks. If you do
not moisturize your skin, your skin will produce more oil. Worst case
scenario, if you had to chose between moisturizer and cleanser, choose
the moisturzer, hands down.
answers2: Oily skin still needs to be moisturized because many times
dry skin is the main cause of oily skin as you are over drying your
skin the oil glands become over active to try to moisturize your skin.
<br>
<br>
The most important routine to have is the right skincare combo for
your skin. <br>
<br>
I have had awesome success with Bee Luscious Cosmetics Papaya Enzyme
products because it was the only product line that really balanced my
skin and then I hydrate with the hydrating cream concentrate. Its
totally incredible.
answers3: if u have an oily skin or a combination or oily and dry then
u can always use a oil-free moisturizer <br>

Makeup with contact lens?

answers1: Of course you can,I wear eye makeup even while I'm wearing
lenses.It doesn't change a thing;)
answers2: Hi, <br>
I'm not sure about your age since you didn't mention anything about
that but... <br>
My daughter is 18 years old and she has been wearing contact lenses
for 2 years now. <br>
She wears make-up and contacts at the same time and she has had no
problems with either one. <br>
I was a little afraid to let her both at the age of 16 but she has
done just fine with her eyes and make-up. <br>
<br>
For your own protection, you may want to use just a little eye
make-up with your contacts and see how that goes and then gradually
build-up your make-up to your usual look. <br>
<br>
Anyway, Good luck to you in this matter!!
answers3: Yes, go ahead and wear your regular makeup. I put my
contacts in first, then the makeup. Close your eyes when dusting with
a powder to set shadow or foundation, etc. <br>
<br>
I found it tricky to find the right eye makeup remover, because you
don't want to irritate your eyes. I've tried many - creamy, liquid,
and the best is "Take the Day Off" remover from Clinique. I wear
waterproof mascara, and eye liner pencils often, and this gets them
off, without tugging and rubbing your eyes. I don't recommend face
cream, face cleanser or vaseline. Too much trouble with them. I also
just picked up a small bottle of Make Up For Ever- Sens'Eyes. I found
a little bottle near the samples at Sephora. That works wonders for
mascara also.
answers4: I wear eye makeup with my lenses. Insert your lenses before
you apply your makeup. 2D
answers5: Yes you can, I wear contacts and I also wear eyeliner,
eyeshadow, mascara. Doesn't affect me at all
answers6: I've had contact for years. I wear eye makeup every single
day. Eye shadow base, usually two to three shades of eye shadow,
eyeliner, and at least two coats of mascara.
answers7: i wear liquid eyeliner on my top lids , eyeshow natural
colors and a mix or blue and black eyeliner on the botth and even
mascara .. having contatcs never stopped me
answers8: yeah.you can. <br>
<3 <br>
but be careful that you dont get makeup on lens! <br>
:]
answers9: yes. when I decide to wear eyeliner and mascara, I put that
on first, then I put in my contacts. it can be a real pain if you get
some mascara or eyeliner on your contact.
answers10: yes you can, be careful with mascara, cuz if you get it on
the lens, it won't come off. make sure you have your contacts in
before you put on make-up.

Makeup? help? 11?

answers1: i think a 11 year old can wer make up but only if she will
were it appropriatly and like she can wer probaly somthing that is
light not dark or to make her look older or grown. probaly she could
were lipgloss and a little eye shadow that is all cause u dont want ur
kids to grow up that fast.
answers2: Depends on where she is going with the makeup on. If to
school then a little bit of shimmer is fine but if she wants to wear a
lot then she should not wear it out.
answers3: it is ur own personal choice, if you want 2 wear makeup then
it is completely up 2 u, and don't let other people tell you what is
right for u, if it makes you feel comfortable then its up to u, the
main thing is that you are happy
answers4: its never too early to try to use a make up honey.use a
moisturiser,then foundation followe by loose powder that matches your
skin colour.then start on the eyeshadow colours followed by eyeliners
and blushers on your cheeks,do not over apply though...then use a
lipliner to line your lips and apply lip gloss.lastly,apply
mascara.thats it honey...good luck
answers5: maybe if you are in your town's production of the
nutcracker. I'd stick with chapstick, you have your whole life to
worry about makeup.
answers6: I think it generally looks a bit wrong when a girl that age
has on like full-on dark eye makeup, and your skin is young and
doesn't need any foundation. If you apply some faint lipgloss that
should look pretty, but at your age you really don't need anything to
enhance your beauty...
answers7: it depends. anyone can wear makeup. if you feel like youre
mature enough and responsible, go for it! just dont start off too
heavy
answers8: If you just want to put on some lip gloss, mascara, and a
color blending eyeshawdow then that would be okay. But letting the
child wear foundation, eyeliner, blush is too much. That can damage
her/your skin and cause zits.
answers9: it is your own personal choice, if you want to wear makeup
then it is completely up to you, and don;t let othet people tell you
what is right for you, if it makes you feel comfortable then it's up
to you, the main thing is that you are happy =D
answers10: an 11 y/o old shouldm't be wearing anything beside clear
lipgloss at the most.

Makeup counter experiences...?

answers1: depends about what makeup counter! i really really like mac,
they have great artists and they really know there stuff and there
products are amazing! if someone isnt immediatly coming to see you
then i would leave and go somewhere else unless they are really busy
answers2: They give really good advice and they are super friendly.
Just make sure they use NEW or CLEANED makeup applicators (mascara
wands, brushes, etc.) because (it's never happened to me) but I've
heard of a lot of people getting like skin rashes or eye infections
from utensils that haven't been cleaned every time someone different
uses it. But don't let this scare you, I've only had good experiences
at makeup counters. Good luck for you sweet 16!

makeup setting spray vs primer?

answers1: No primer will keep your makeup on all day no matter how
much it promises to. Primers are for filling in lines/pores and
creating a smooth canvas for makeup application. <br>
<br>
Sprays however keep makeup in place all day and control oil/sweat to
an extent. <br>
<br>
The best sprays are from Skindinavia, Motives, Premiere Producrts inc,
Ben Nye, Kryolan and OCC Cosmetics. <br>
<br>
Urban Decay, Mac, Mufe, ELF, Model in a Bottle, Kat Von D and others
that I've tried don't really work. <br>
<br>
Anyway if you need to fill in line/pores but you also have trouble
keeping your makeup on because of oily skin or heat outside or you
just have makeup with not very good staying power you need both.
answers2: Not necessarily, but some people do, some people don't. It's
up to you. If you find your makeup still wears off the day without the
primer, then use a primer.
answers3: Only if your foundation is not staying on all day
answers4: not really but its best to

do you think dark brown hair or light blonde hair is better?

answers1: show a pic. it depends on how you look.

blonde hair just looks so artificial <br>

Body hair??

answers1: on a guy, hair in moderation. I don't want a guy with NO
body hair at all cuz thats just gross! Why should I have more body
hair than he does? And if he's super hair, thats gross too cuz i don't
want to feel like i'm dating a bear. And its too prickly against my
skin. so to answer, hair in moderation. not too little not to much.
some hair.

hair than others, although I can say I'm definitely not a fan of back
hair.

Vagina Hair AND Head hair?

answers1: i dunno, never thought about it.
answers2: vagina hair grow at the AROUND same speed as your head hair
but the hair on your head grow straighter hence looking longer but the
hair on your vagina has the tendency to curl hence looking shorter
hope you understand
answers3: Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural
remedies that can help boost hair growth: <a
href="https://bitly.im/aOpXp"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>https://bitly.im/aOpXp</a> While genetics
plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances,
an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient
scalp circulation.
answers4: Hair on your head usually isn't as coarse as pubic hair, as
pubic hair is there to protect the vagina from foriegn materials. The
answer is no. Pubic hair grows faster.
answers5: Doubt it. Pubes seem to stop growing once at a certain length, too...
answers6: If you have vaginal hair, there is something wrong. The
vagina is inside the body and is also known as the birth canal. <br>
<br>
As far as pubic hair; body hair and scalp hair grows at a different
rate. Your eyebrows, pubic hair, eyelashes, etc grows much faster than
the hair on your head. Their growing phase (anagen) is different. The
growing stage of the cycle for body hair is only a few months. The
growing stage for scalp hair is from two to six years.
answers7: I dont think so...lol...imagine how freaken hairy a vagina
would look like...i think pubics grow slower....but thicker...I dont
see why anyone would wonder about this but ther is my answer...
answers8: vagina hair grows faster until about a inch then slows down
and basically stops, your head hair grows at the same rate until it
reaches your maximun length <br>
how much weight your head can hold , mine is just below the shoulder blade <br>

answers9: Pubic hair grows faster
answers10: i think they grow about the same. but head hair i think has
more potential to grow, like it gets a lot longer

Do Kung Zhu hamsters work in Zhu Zhu pet accessories?

answers1: I'm not sure, but I don't think they work together. You
might check on the manufacturer's website and see if they have that
information, but usually toys like these all require their own
accessories and are not compatible - the manufacturer's method of
getting people to buy more stuff.

Homecoming makeup and accessories, HELP!!!?

answers1: Brown and light tan eyeshsdow. White shoes or dark tan or
brown and champange or goldenn brown acssecories tht fit ur liking.
Good luck I kno ull prolly pull it off snd look good!
answers2: For your eyes, you wanna use colors that make green eyes
pop. Like a tan or brownish. Green, not a tacky green though, works
too. <br>
Accessories, get a neckalace, and some earings. Also, get a little
purse. A SMALL one. Big enough to put your make up (not all of it,
just so you can touch up through the night) your ticket and cell
phone. <br>
<br>
Get some light tan heals. <br>
<br>
Make up: http://www.bowsandcurtseys.com/ <br>
There's some make up look samples there!
answers3: I wore the same color dress to my homecoming. I wore my
makeup like I usually did at the time, same color strappy heels, and
the only accessory I had was a pair of chandelier earrings that
matched the details of my dress. (You might want to carry a clutch
though to keep everything you need close.) If you want to play around
with color, look up color palates to find a contrasting colored eye
shadow/shoe/accessory that might add a little oomph to your look. Hope
you have a great time, I'm sure you'll look great!

Is this Accessory to possible Murder?

answers1: Based on the information you provided, it could be a
possibility that these people could be convicted as accessories. But
the problem is that the prosecutor would have to prove their intent in
ensuring you were killed and they had to encourage/help the murder
occur. Those are the basic elements to prove accomplice liability.
<br>
<br>
The biggest problem with the facts in your case is that they don't
necessarily indicate their active assistance in ensuring you were
killed. They might show intent that they wanted you dead, but they
don't show that they actually did anything to help it happen. <br>
<br>
What you should really concentrate on now is documenting these threats
and notifying the proper authorities. You need to ensure your own
safety and that of your children, a restraining order might be a good
first step.

Ammo over Accessories?

answers1: I spend a lot more time shooting my stock Mosins with no
accessories than I do the modified ones. <br>
<br>
I vote ammo. Better yet, get another Mosin as well.
answers2: You certainly have enough right now for your Nagant. If you
shoot allot, and, I mean, allot, then you may need more. If you shoot
occasionally, you have a good supple. A couple a hundred rounds for
each caliber you own is usually sufficient. If you are buying for the
coming breakdown in society, it ain't coming. Don't worry, a few
hundred rounds more or less won't make much of a difference.
answers3: Go with the ammo. That is the one most like to be under
assault in the near future.
answers4: Accesories are secondary. The only thing that matters to a
gun is ammo and mags right now. I wouldn't waste money on stuff to
make the gun look nicer. Maybe scopes but that's it.
answers5: Accessories? ---- Except for a scope, sling, case and nice
cleaning kit accessories are a waste of money.... <br>
<br>
Keep the rifle stock.... <br>
<br>
Buy ammo.....
answers6: More ammo for all your weapons. If there really becomes a
shortage of ammo no one will be buying accessories for what they can
not use. Thus accessories may be easier to come by and you will have
ammo to enjoy shooting while the rest of the folks will only wish they
could. <br>
<br>
This is a case of how much is too much. You need enough to feel comfortable.
answers7: AMMO, AMMO, AMMO... <br>
<br>
85 bucks is outstanding, get more; I paid $100. Get it soon, every
time I go to a gun show, ammo prices go up at least 10-20 bucks for
500 rounds. That's on everything.
answers8: Go with the ammo with no doubt in my mind. You can always by
accessories later at gun shows or online! Ammo is getting hard to
find! Thanks to crazy Obama!!
answers9: If you think this spike in ammo prices is temporary, go with
the accessories. If you have a good source of ammo & you fear ammo may
be harder to get any time soon, get some boxes plus some desiccant. My
opinion? If the weapon fires fine as is, get more ammo.
answers10: If you are worried about SHTF <br>
<br>
Id get real ammo, not 30 year old milsurp <br>
<br>
mall ninja stuff will be around for years. <br>
<br>
Ammo will not

how do i get involved in the fashion business?

answers1: You could check with your local college or university and
see what kind of options you have. There are several different
categories in fashion, such as, modeling, designing, sewing,
buying/selling, being an agent,owning your own agency, etc. Schools
are the best place to check it out - you might find something you
like.
answers2: It really depends on what you want to do in the fashion
business (stylist, buyer, journalist, whatever), but the key to
getting by in the fashion business, as in many businesses, is to know
the right people and get your name and ideas out there. Start up a
blog, go to a major fashion school, try to get an internship with a
designer or fashion-related company, anything to get your foot in the
door. Hope that helps!
answers3: U could try making some of your very own creations then, u
could show it to the business and they might give u a good job besides
a fashion designer. <br>
<br>
Or u could just be a model and model cloths and maybe u could make
some cloths and then,model some of your very own creations. <br>

why is fashion week so i important to models?

answers1: Because fashion week is where the models are noticed by
every magazine editor, major retailer and other designers <br>
The way you get into Vogue Paris is to have Carine Roitfeld see you on
the runway during Paris Fashion Week and loving your look <br>
The way you get a Victoria's Secret contract is to have VS Creative
Director Edward Razek see you on the runway of a top designer show.
That's how he finds every VS model - he goes to NY, Paris and Milan
fashion weeks every year looking for the hottest new girls

Humanities Journal Topics?

answers1: All beginnings must come with obstacles for them to begin
something that changes into something better.
<br>
There are only 3 things that are the best to the human, the drugs,
ecstasy being possibly but not certainly the best and the category of
drugs includes the natural feelings of serotonin and dopamine and
others that arise from the environment. Then you necessarily have
orgasm as the next due to evolutionary processes involved in it being
important to spread seed for a species to endure and broaden its
horizon of prospects to potentially advance the race and other
feelings related around the spreading of seed. And then there is the
wild card, which is unintentionally or intentionally inducing euphoria
in yourself through some kind of widening of your awareness about
something, and then translating it to others because of mirror
neurons, that's when u feel what someone else feels and this
unintentional euphoria can come from you expanding your awareness of
the self and of the environment and teaching something, not teaching
logical process, but teaching about how one can become more aware,
giving something that you have attained through arduous labor for
free, you have to give it for free, but once you give something for
free it is automatically shared, and doubling, you can give away 20
metaphorical dollars measured with some kind of electrical measurement
and end up with 40 dollars between the two of you to share and you can
make whatever kind of economy that is richer. And then you are doing
something that benefits your race like Einstein. There is one more
thing stimulating and worthy of mention, the forbidden fruit from the
bible, the drinking of the nectar of another, being superior because
with the knowledge of self-awareness comes the knowledge of knowledge
itself. So you are aware of things and this creates the possibility
for you to imagine yourself above other things, but awareness or
knowledge itself already existed before u were there to learn it, so
it does not belong to anyone like the matter in the universe,
electrons and even possibility strings vibrating at the frequency that
slides into the slot of the existence being experienced. So the
intoxicating energy that is the inequality of all things, survival of
the fittest and adrenaline related defence is long ago the primitive
version of evolution, sharing is the present module of evolution and
without evolution you would not be here, let alone living in a house
with toilets. <br>
All matter should be treated in the same way in general at this stage
of evolution because touching antimatter would explode. It is
basically black and white, there is stuff you can interact with and
there is stuff you can't. There are 10 dimensions of existence and the
idea is that they are creating a cyclic shape that cycles through
itself, and that means it could be all there is, with no afterlife,
and if something isn't aware of that in every moment it simply can't
get the most out of every moment, like an animal that isn't aware that
its death will occur no mater what. Religious delusions of eternal
life simply reduce the quality of the only life. Those euphoria's were
the three reasons we are here basically unless humans start helping
animals, and when stripped from all the other confusing and crowding
motivations they do stand apart in a dimension of their own. If you
copy paste this as your project that is plagiarism just so you know
but I don't object if your going to do that.

Why are career prospects of the humanities and social sciences so poor? If I get a Ph.D. in Russian Studies...?

answers1: Worse then mediocre. Ask yourself, who would hire an
"anything studies" graduate. There are perhaps 10 positions in
academia for a Russian Studies graduate in the USA and those all
require a PhD. There is one that comes open perhaps every 2 or 3
years. The CIA may have need for 20 to maybe 50 more. <br>
<br>
You have to look at who hires the graduates and how many people are
getting the degree. There is a reason why there are few GA positions
in the humanities in grad school while in the sciences there are few
grad students without one.
answers2: More students study these subjects than are needed to fill
the available jobs. If you get a Ph.D. in Russian studies, expect to
be unemployed or underemployed for your whole life.
answers3: Very few jobs in those fields require a PhD. Most people
going for a PhD want to be a college professor. However, to maintain
a steady state of professors, each professor would only ever have one
PhD student - the one who will replace him when he retires. But many
professors graduate 10-30 PhD students, which means now we have far
more people who want to teach college than there are jobs for them.
There might only be a few positions open in Russian studies in the
whole country the year you graduate - and you're competing against far
more than just the student graduating this year, but also all those in
the last few years who didn't get jobs.
answers4: Humanities is like literature and philosophy, etc. Social
sciences contain issues like antropology, psychology, sociology, and
economics - particularly, the failings that concentration on how human
beings work together.

Why are kids STILL studying humanities/liberal arts?

answers1: One studies what they would like to do but unfortunately,
our Government has changed the American dream from being happy to
owning stuff. That's what is really sad and as far as "Communications
and Graphic Designs" they are both excellent choices. <br>
<br>
You can become a doctor but you will find that the money is not as
good as you think, until this country passes laws for "Tort Reform".
If your happiness is embedded in making money, then you should become
an Attorney; however, as you get older you will sadly find that all
the money, houses, cars and/or stuff, will never make you happy.
answers2: Mark, <br>
<br>
Mather will be the best answer. <br>
<br>
Even though we all need to admit, everyone has different intelligent
level. When I see young engineer in my church play piano wonderfully
and then practice at home myself. By seeing my tangled fingers on the
keyboard, I need to admit people has different level of intelligence.
Perfectly English in writing without correct mind training, what they
wrote is worthless of reading. The capability of language in English
will never equal to the capability of brain. <br>
<br>
In this countries, tons of millions intelligent Physicist formed a
Physic Forum and easily got me lost in their formula. People who
hold job as top technical engineer can play violin perfectly. I still
believe this country has the largest number of well trained
scientists. There are many complex reasons for employment, which
might not has anything to do with intelligence. <br>
<br>
As Mather said, a combined talents society is healthier.
answers3: I'm on the waiting list for the nursing program and I am
required to take an LER, a class not pertaining to my degree, and I
picked art and theatre, it interesting but pointless to me, they say
its to open ur horizons and for you to learn our great history!?
that's what i'm told anyways. I'm not sure why we still study it but i
didn't believe we should be required to take a humanities if we are
not going into that field, i actually signed up fo a oceanography
class but they told me that wouldn't count towards my associates
degree nor could i take it as a LER because its a science! that makes
no sense to me since im am going to be an RN!
answers4: We all have different aspects to our being that need to be
fullfilled, not just a paycheck....as the old saying goes 'man cannot
live by bread alone'. As well, in your premed studies, you may find
yourself taking psychology courses as a pre-requisite....if you are
going to be a successful doctor you may want to consider taking
communications...ever notice what a high percent of doctors have a
crappy bedside manner? And if someone is creative and has abilities
in that direction, what is wrong with studying graphic design. The
last thing this world needs ( and an individual as well) is a
professional who is in it for the money only and not a love of what
he/she is doing. Most experts on happiness will advise getting into a
career field that really excites you. Not only will you probably
excel at it, 40 years is a long time to work at something that may or
may not pay well, but bores the hell out of you.
answers5: One reason for sure is because engineering, science, math
are hard. Because they are hard, you have to have a lot of
perseverance, determination, and academic stamina to stick with it for
several years. I think that the fast food generation(have it your way,
right away ...im also a part of it) just doesn't have enough patience
and old-school work ethic like some previous generations. There also
seems to have been a transition to more people thinking they have more
of a calling in life to contribute to the overall well-being of
society in some caring/philosophical type of way...and so more people
go into humanities, like psychology...at least that's why i did
psychology.. now im back in school doing computer engineering, so i
kind of know EXACTLY what you're talking about. Engineering is so cool
im not sure why i didn't research it more in the first place, it is so
intellectually fulfilling and alot of other people think what im doing
is absolutely fascinating... and they contribute a lot to society. I
look forward to contributing more to society than i could with my
psych degree and also being able to be financially independent and
relieve others of the problem of taking care of me.
answers6: If you have any beef it should be the fact that you need to
do pre-med in your country instead of being able to jump straight into
medicine like many other countries. <br>
<br>
Many graduate vacancies just ask for a degree in any discipline and
they will give you relevant training. <br>
<br>
However, i think the the portion of people without vocational degrees
is probably higher than the economy could use.
answers7: Economics and humanity- 3 simple words to answer, but of
course you'll need an explanation. <br>
Granted there are quite a few classes that seem useless to others. But
if they close those classes, the school system will take a cut in
funding as well. Take for instance- literature. Reading about foreign
mythology has no place in any profession unless you want to be an
English professor. But each semester costs approximately $300, and
another $200 for text books. Some of that pays for instructor's wage,
some to publishing companies, but another chunk goes to the
institution of higher learning. In the humanities section, if you
don't teach ethics, then your children will contribute to white collar
crimes, if you teach women studies, your children will facilitate
racism and all the other -ISMS. If no one learns anthropology,
dieticians and related biological sciences will never fill in the gaps
that helps determine DNA makeup pertaining to metabolic
inconsistencies. If no one learns sociology, agencies like battered
wives, rape crisis centers and marriage counseling will dwindle- and
today's divorce rate will get even worse, not to mention the children
who get victimized from those inhumane practices. <br>
People study theater so they can make money without contributing to
the community except for temporary morale and self actualizing
benefits. <br>
Yeah, who needs communications if you can text people now? Wrong. If
you can't sound professional then might as well e-mail your proposal
to your fiance. <br>
But if you are classified from 60% or more of the "classical norm" ,
rich and well off, then, yes, your right- we should close down half of
our curriculum, and put thousands more out of work.
answers8: 1 Everyone has unique talents. <br>
2 Entertainment is always in high demand. You've watched countless
movies, TV shows, plays, concerts, etc, I'm POSITIVE. It's one of the
most lucrative industries in America. <br>
3 The US is ranked 3rd in depression and low personal satisfaction
rates. Probably more than half the wounds treated in hospitals are a
direct or indirect result of mental illness.
Psychologists/psychiatrists are doctors too, and have to work just as
hard as surgeons to get their PhD's. <br>
4. You are underestimating the number of doctors, engineers, etc. We
have the same amount as we have had in the past. <br>
<br>
Educate yourself, stranger. You may be in a pre-med program, but it
doesn't change the fact that you're both senseless and ignorant.
answers9: "Do what you love, and the dollars will follow." <br>
OR <br>
"If you love what you do, then the money won't matter." <br>
<br>
Sure, your answer is very practical; engineers, scientists, doctors,
etc. will always be needed. But, you need to remember that each person
has a different perception of happiness, success, self-actualization,
etc. This is an idea you learn in humanities/liberal arts courses.
<br>
<br>
On a side note, good luck with pre-med--more than half of all students
applying to medical school will not be accepted to a single program.
Getting accepted to a top program is even more difficult; some schools
have two percent acceptance rates. In essence, you are seriously
playing the probabilities by pursuing a pre-med route--what will you
do if you don't get accepted to medical school? What do you do with a
degree in pre-medicine, biology, chemistry, etc. when similar fields
at the graduate level are just as competitive? In essence, the English
major who loves literature will face less competition at the graduate
school level (and thus have better opportunities at success) while
doing pursuing what he or she loves to do. <br>
<br>
Cheers!
answers10: There's still a place for Liberal Arts/Humanities degrees,
but they usually need to be followed with some kind of
graduate/professional school. <br>
<br>
Actually, we need more skilled journeymen in the trades who have
served four-year apprenticeships. We need THEM more than we need 2.8
GPA Sociology grads.
answers11: One reason is not everyone can, or wants to use such a
level of calculus and physics in their career. Some people have more
subjective brains than objective, and do not enjoy working with black
and white formulas. <br>
<br>
We would be in big trouble if everyone only went into science and
math. Our world needs many skills and if nearly everyone went for the
same majors then students wouldn't even be able to get into the major.
Now, I do agree with you that some majors are impracticable at a BA/BS
level. For instance, psychology is a popular one. However, if one gets
a PhD in pyschology, thats a different story, and a good thing,
because we will need some people to study the human mind, especially
as society continues to grow and change.

I am really confused if I should take up commerce or humanities/arts..?

answers1: well as i perceive that you are confused on taking a step i
would like to prefer you the field you like not you need. keep in mind
that , a field in which you are capable is more good than the filed
you only think good. your talent can make your earning more..... so
follow your liking .. in humanities physical education, English
literature can be the best source for your income. for more guidance
naimat512@yahoo.com........
answers2: To be more realistic you study to earn a degree which you
would afterwards use to get a job, lets make a comparative review,
Humanities, is an expression of one self in any artistic or even
philosophical in so doing, I suppose that you would take Humanities
for you really like it and if so you need not to take it as a course
for humanities is not study you should make profit from. It is what
you would use as an expression of inner self in this sense humanities
is mainly for self fulfillment and of the like if you study humanities
and you would like to profit for it then you are not taking it as it
should be, Humanities is not a study it is an activity you do
everyday. But in the other hand if practicality is the concern and you
would like to study to earn a job and a compensation thereof then it
is highly suggested for you to take commerce related courses or any
other which has a direct impact to the the market in other words in
the real world. Humanities is of optimism and not to be used to earn a
dignified profit from, the same way as Picasso did. He painted what he
feels not what he would like to get. You can be an artist anytime and
anywhere but you can never have a degree to uplift you anytime you
want.

Is Fine Arts and The Arts the same thing?

answers1: I think fine arts is talking about like band choir and
foreign languages while the arts are talking about all of the arts
including drama which may also be a fine art depending on school and
drawing and writing
answers2: The terms are essentially interchangeable. Usually you only
hear the term Fine Arts in academic settings - like a Fine Arts
degree. I think it generally is applied to art as a theory, rather
than art as something applicable. The general public usually just
refers to it as The Arts, so that term can generally be thought to
mean art that is applicable; that people can enjoy, rather than art
for art's sake. <br>
<br>
Here's a wikipedia page describing the term The Arts: <br>
<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_arts"

what is abstract art to you?

answers1: Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line
to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence
from visual references in the world. Abstraction indicates a
departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. This departure
from accurate representation can be only slight, or it can be partial,
or it can be complete.
answers2: You must start with something. Afterwards you can remove all
traces of reality. There is no danger then....,because the idea of the
object will have left an indelible mark.

What is mainstream art?

answers1: Folk art for one. Arts and Crafts type things... quilts,
toile painted furniture, wood carvings of water foul, window or lawn
ornaments, costume jewelry... <br>
<br>
Paintings of the kind you might find in a hotel or restaurant:
landscapes, cottages, watercolor florals, animals. <br>
<br>
Generally, for something to be 'mainstream' it must be understood and
enjoyed or appreciated by the masses. So mainstream art is generally
just aesthetically pleasing, and not so much something that evokes too
much thought. Not to say that it's all boring. <br>
<br>
To be really simplistic, I'd say that mainstream art sells in volumes,
and fine art is expensive per piece?
answers2: a water wheel
answers3: When we say mainstream, it refers to the ideas, attitudes,
or activities that are regarded as normal or conventional; the
dominant trend in opinion, fashion, or the arts. Or popular among the
majority. <br>
<br>
One example are movies that you hear a lot about from other people and
advertisements.Sometimes, it is equivalent to a loss of inventive
creativity.
answers4: Mainstream Art

Do you agree : "All art is quite useless "?

answers1: Picasso said "Art washes away from the soul the dust of
everyday life." Art is not useless! It is what makes ordinary life
bearable! It is the beauty & meaning in an often ugly & seemingly
arbitrary world. Art lives with us, in our homes, surrounding us with
beauty. Art inspires us, educates, provokes, intrigues us. Whether you
go to an art gallery, or open a magazine, go to a movie, everywhere
you go, artists & designers have made their mark. <br>
<br>
From realistic to abstract, visual art is very subjective & individual
tastes vary. Someone may call a piece useless simply because they
don't like or understand it. Just as musical tastes vary & what is
pleasant to one person may be noise to another. Art may not be
utilitarian in the way that say a fork is. You don't "use" it for
anything except aesthetic pleasure. Though even the fork that you hold
is in a sense a work of art. A designer conceived of it before it went
into production. There is an art to everything. And what about music,
theatre, poetry, literature, all of the arts? Entertainment is a huge
industry. Everyone needs their escapes, needs to be swept away by
music, a movie, a good book once in a while. This is also art. What
would people do without TV, without books? Bare walls. Nothing
aesthetically pleasing. Nothing in existence that wasn't purely
functional. Nothing but the basics of life. Food, water, shelter,
clothing (might as well wear sack cloths since there wouldn't be
anyone to design otherwise)... <br>
<br>
Imagine a world with no creativity. Imagine how bleak, ugly &
uninspiring it would be. How cold & meaningless. Imagine if mundane
existence was all that there was. <br>
<br>
Art exalts us. Artists remind us what is extraordinary & beautiful in
the world. They speak for us in a language we may not have access to,
make us feel, make us think, make us laugh. <br>
<br>
Art is divine.
answers2: Art is all around us. Engineering, architecture, surgery,
fashion, handmade rugs, even what you "create" when you make dinner.
The list goes on and on. It is so much more than sculpture and
painting. But, I think the creative process is equally as important
as the finished product. Painting is widely recognised as a very
beneficial treatment for people with mental health issues. The stuff
in galleries, worth thousands, has no function other than ornamental.
Yet, art is still one of the highest trading commodities in the world.
answers3: To me Art is the form and Science the content. Every art has
a science of its own and there is an art in every scientific endeavor.
As such, to either agree that art is divine or that it is useless,
would amount to an immature understanding of both science and art.
answers4: Nice Quote!...........I believe it was one of Oscar wildes'
many aphorisms. <br>
<br>
Yes I think art is a bit useless but our walls would look a bit plain
without it!
answers5: I disagree, art means to me as a wonderful way to look at
who I am by writing and drawing. Now other arts is something people
who tell who they are, if you think art is useless, that is your way
of saying you don't want to be in life. Art has many types, some I may
like and some not. But they are all useful, maybe you should rethink
the way you act about art, like the way I act about the enviorment.
answers6: No. Today especially, much art is quite utilitarian. Art
means different things - it depends on the specific art you're
referring to. Yes, there are many 'types' of art.
answers7: I am an art teacher, so NO, I don't think it's useless!
Visual art sparks imagination and creativity in kids (and adults) and
teaches hand-eye coordination, observation skills, pride in
accomplishment, thinking outside the box...... <br>
On another avenue of thinking about it, there is "art for art's sake"
and then art for more practical purposes: art in advertising, greeting
cards, clothing and interior design, children's literature
illustrations......lots of things can fall under the category of art,
and our world would be pretty boring without it!
answers8: No, only if you don't think or see or feel. It's all useful
for whatever one sees any particular piece or form useful for. There
is no rule book on what art has to be. It's wide open to the
imagination
answers9: Art does not mean the same thing to everyone, so it is
useless for some people and quite useful for others. <br>
<br>
What I find quite useless and hateful are people such as you who post
anti-LGBT hatreds and discrimination in a public forum. You should be
ashamed of yourself. I certainly hope you don't have the gall to call
yourself a "christian," you hypocrite.
answers10: Is it useless?---What is useless? Could there be a useless
question or a useless answer? Think about it! <br>
What does art mean to me? Art may be many things depending on your
world point of view (even a splatter of spaghettis thrown on a wall or
the aspect of the clouds in the sky). Art may be in the eye of the
beholder and even from an utilitarian perspective it has its
uses(Hollywood can attest to that). <br>
Does it have many types? Yes. Useful and useless? Is this another
useless question or my a useless response? Think about it!
answers11: Art just means made. are all the artifacts of our
civilsation useless? Most were made with very practical reasons in
mind. Is art for arts sake useless? well if it is only for arts sake,
but many good uses come from useless things. there are entertainment
values. there are technical values. and there are social values. There
are also the preservations of history by paintings and the use of art
in advertising. <br>
I think it might even be true that there is no distinction between
what could be considered art, craft or trade. Even the distinction of
arts and sciences blurs. And of course is politics an art, science,
craft or just a trade.

Is anyone familiar with the (illigal?) Child Migration Scheme from Britain to Australia?

answers1: Hello Bebz!!! I don't know of any illegal child migration
scheme. There was a child migration scheme from Britain to Australia
that was sanctioned by both governments. I think that both governments
e.g. the House of Commons and the House of Lords in London and the
Federal House of Representatives and the Federal Senate in Australia
passed legislation enabling it so it was not illegal. <br>
<br>
I think that the first laws enabling it were passed here in 1946. This

Have you done a Visual Arts portfolio?

answers1: There's no specific list of things to put into your
portfolio (unless they gave you one specifically for the interview.)
Put in you best works. Be eclectic. Show some drawings, paintings,
photography, whatever you have that you think is good. <br>
<br>
They wont be judging what kind of artist you are based on your
portfolio. They're getting an idea of your skill level and your grasp
on the visual arts. They basically wont to know if the things they
teach you are likely to take, or if you aren't developed enough in the
basics to benefit from their program. <br>
<br>
Don't sweat it. Most people who apply for art programs, aren;t going
because they think it'll be easy, or because they like to doodle on
the back of their notebook. They go because they are serious about
becoming better artist. I'm betting you are the latter, and I'm
betting you're portfolio will be good enough do pass the interview.

Who is better at acting???Why?

answers1: neither of them should be called actors
answers2: Selena Gomez definitely. Miley can't even act so there's no
competition there. Selena is amazing and she should really break free
of Disney. They breed troubled children there. If she weren't on
Disney she would have so much more to offer. Miley couldn't live
without Disney. They are her career.
answers3: selena selena selena all da way...i used 2 like miley on
hannah montana....but shes turned into a slu* right now soo
like............ <br>
oh, and selena is better, well, coz, i dunoo, shes just really good
and hasent really done anything THAT bad!!!
answers4: neither. <br>
i hate selena gomez. mileys ok. cant act though
answers5: miley <br>
selenas character in wizards is boring and mean
answers6: I think both of them are good actresses. Miley puts more
heart into it in the movie than into her show on Disney. But Selena is
really good in her movie "Another Cinderella Story" also. Selena is
more humorous though. Everytime i watch Wizards of Waverly Place i
just crack up and rewind to watch it again
answers7: To tell you the truth, I think both of them are good
actresses! People say there is a rivalry between them, because of Nick
Jonas and the both of them going out with him or something!
Personally, I think it's a bunch of turkey! <br>
<br>
Miley is pretty good, but that's because of Hannah Montana, now on the
other hand, she isn't as good at singing as people say she is! <br>
<br>
I like Selena Gomez a tad bit more though, because she can sing REALLY
well! I also like her acting on Wizards of Waverly Place!
answers8: miley

Hamlet help with act and scene?

answers1: The act is a larger division: the play is made up of acts,
and the acts are made up of scenes. An act is literally an action; the
scene is the setting where the actions take place.

what is the proclamation act?

answers1: He owned many from what I have read, but no real truth has
been proven . The only reason the Emancipation Proclamation Act was
implemented was to cripple the south during the war of the little bit
of production they had. Sadly to say Abraham Lincoln didn't give a
damn about the slaves, he just wanted the unity of the states. The
civil war was truly fought over the fact that the confederate states
didn't want to have a central government but for each state to govern
itself. So slavery wasn't even a issue to say the least.
answers2: The Royal Proclamation of 1763 was issued October 7, 1763 by
King George III following Great Britain's acquisition of French
territory in North America after the end of the French and Indian
