Betsey Copp: Absolutely not. In fact, if you want to be a hygienist, I would very strongly recommend that you just go directly to a hygiene program and get on with your life. If you become a dental assistant while your goal is to become a hygienist, you will have sidetracked at least a year or two of your life. It will take you years and years to make up for that lost income.
Rosalva Steinmann: Welcome back, Dr. Sam.
Jacques Vaquera: It would help to be trained. You can take programs thru colleges and become a hygentist
Vickie Sterbenz: hi there ive been a dental nurse for 13 years in my experience id train as a nurse first to be honest that way ur a step ahead of the Alevel students that have got in.. its a two year corse but its helpful believe me. good luck and be a hygiene/therapist student not just hygiene.
Wilmer Skidmore: I have a bachelors degree from The Ohio State University. There are 2 year colleges. They all are very competitive. Fi! nding a job right now is difficult. Good luck in what you decide. It is a fun profession.
Luther Plagmann: Dang if I know
