Prayer, and prayer alone would be the means for ! forgiveness of sins. No more blood offerings for unintentional sin. No ! more grain offerings, no more any offerings whatsoever. The lesson was well learned by Isaac, and! any time any of the Israelites would think that life would be so much easier if they could just throw a human on the fire like the pagans, Isaac was there to bring him back to the truth of Judaism.These are things that christianity doesnt teach its followers.
