Boeing or airbus aircrafts?

Manual Burtis: Airbus and Boeing may have to merge someday to meet the challenge from Embraer.

Darnell Cutliff: This is as ridiculous as asking, which is better, Chevy or Ford.FYI, the Boeing 737 has been in production for 46 years, and is still being produced.

Sherita Gallati: In 20 years from now, Airbus and Boeing will no longer exist -All will be under Chinese domination -You used to laugh at "Made in China" - Now it is their turn start laughing -Everything outside China will be "third world" -I remember 50 yrs ago, everyone laughed at "Made in Japan" -Look in your streets, Toyotas, Hondas, Nissan, Mitsubishis -You did not learn from your mistakes... A retired pilot, I was in Beijing a few times in the late 1970s -And again in 2008... what a progress -From empty streets full of bicycles, and now traffic jams with cars -I admire China and the Chinese people, they had the right ideas -You people in North America and Europe know so little about them -This cen! tury will be China's -....Show more

Ronnie Sardi: skipper747 is right. because in 10 years china has gone from J-10s to J-20s (google them).but i doubt that boeing will disapear because of their long endurance (boeing established in 1916 and is infact 97 years old). over the years boeing has faced competition from lockheed,BAC,BAe,douglas, Macdonnell Douglas,Grumman,Northrop and in the 70s, Airbus. i would expect that chinese aviation will be the new "airbus" by replacing it.

Rodolfo Merel: NO! bOEING WINS!

Torri Tippey: Say, Airbus and Boeing will compete for a looonng time to come. But if either were to fail it would be Airbus because not only a younger company which is not used to problems but other reasons as well.Boeing is recently big in the market with the 747-8 and 787 already out and flying with airlines and this motivates more airlines to buy aircraft from Boeing as they are quickly developing new tech. Airbus on the other hand currently is only ! making dreams, and while their A350 seems better than the 787,! it is not out yet nor tested and not much interest is put into Airbus as of now. Still Airbus has introduced those new sharklet A320 or whatever those fancy winglets are and those are only a big hit in Europe. And consider the fact that Boeing manufactures entirely in the USA, while Airbus plants are spread across the France, Germany, Spain and UK...Show more

Arlen Lopiccalo: Boeing will always be there the B777 is one hell of an aircraft 10 computers from Airbus is just made into 1 single computer think of the weight you have lessened. Now Airbus airplane have begun showing signs of corrosion and it has only been operational for quite some time now while Boeing has laready dealt with this kind of problem Airbus is just starting to face it.

Nadia Crauswell: Well, as a peoples, i hope that Boeing is NOT replaced by the inferior airbus...Boeing US made Airbus ...French fried. The airbus is a good plane, and if Boeing gets their head out of the clouds and starts! making a better product for the money..then Boeing will stay... Boeing has gotten sidetracked with the Government tit (contracts) the last few years and has caused them to drift from what they know best.
