i think humanities goal is to become gods???....?

Karl Jantzen: i believe this too, there is a evil and a good god.the evil in this example is oil companies, we have all this turf war, oil wars, greenhouse fx, all this crap happening due to oil...the good in this is... natural sources, solar panels, wind power, greener vehicles(honda fcxbut.. we.. as humans are lazy, we want raw power, and most are uneducated, so we follow the advise of the evil doers. ex. in bible, snake adam/eve and apple.now... if we dont control our power, and use of it, we as humanity as good will destroy everything weve created, but if we manage it.... We can delay, maybe even get rid of... an end...this doesnt apply for over.... 5 Billion more years, when the sun starts releasing violent levels of radiation and explodes....Show more

Hai Biggart: I have always liked George Carlin's description of humanity on the world, we are a surface infestation on the mother earth and one day, she is going to just shake us off. I will assume that will inc! lude the human/god development projects as well. We could gain all the knowledge we have only to find a tangle of contradiction, obtain all power only to find we cannot stop the wind, look to challenge the enemy and find no one has an interest in our fight, look to find the greater picture and only find a mirror. Is the human goal for us to "Arise, go forth, and conquer" ( Tennyson ), or is that the battle for supremacy merely a spectator sport for the web connected masses to enjoy on youtube and the inevitable crash and burn of those who fight to get to the top just the fireworks at the end of our entertainment selection?Being we as individuals, either human or demigods, have a more limited time on this earth then we as a humanity, wouldn't it be more reasonable develop the hopefully longer path of humanity with your time and ambition then to become just one more Friday night smack down dog fight for your limited existence that will end, as we all know it will, in the pile! of dog bones and corpses of demigods left unburied and unmour! ned, food for the vultures of the media....Show more
