would national poverty hinder green living?

Lorelei Lilburn: I think a lot of people would be in some kind of finical trouble if we all went green. If everyone went solar powered just think how many peoples bill would sky rocket because they are losing business.

Rosalba Lingner:

Craig Virani: Google has some info- following seems useful:Boston's Lightspace Corp. makes touch-sensitive colored LED tiles for applications such as dance floors, interactive games and corporate lighting environments. Lightspace COO Brian Batease said the company just closed its largest sale to date: a 1,200-tile interactive floor for a client he wouldn't name. That floor is expected to have its first public showing in March at the CeBIT consumer electronics trade show in Germany. "One of the beautiful things about our products is their low power consumption, and it is something that customers are asking about more and more," said Batease. "Why anyone would design with incandescent lighting at this point is beyond me." Certai! nly, LED light bulbs have a very "Green" future....Show more

Heidi Creselious: Yep, as I know, farmers burn their farms after harvesting in Sumatera, Indonesia and therefore they cause the haze around the region because they have no access to the new technology that's environment-friendly.

Amada Greising: no

Dexter Gold: Lilac needs to take an economics course, and to grow up.Lilac all weath is created and it's not "our" resources.

Romana Stiman: Green living explores everything from organic and fair-trade foods, water conservation and composting to energy-saving strategies and ways to help create a greener, more sustainable planet. Undoubtedly a great ideal situation but it does require a complete revamp or re-thinking of how people do and use things in their daily lives. In highly-developed countries like the USA, green living has not really been accepted in the mainstream society. It does take massive education of the population to effect this ! on a national scale. What more in third world countries livin! g in abject poverty, can they even afford to spend billions of dollars to get the idea of green living across to its populace? I think not!...Show more

Hunter Osterberger: " All you need is Cash"

Rachell Meese: yup. because going green cost you lots of GREENS.

Stevie Goldey: I would think that national poverty would CAUSE green living. There are many places in the world that have no electricity, no vehicles (therefore no gasoline, oil, etc.) no fertilizers or pesticides and on and on and on. Some by choice - and some because there is no other choice. They are not contributing to greenhouse gasses the way "richer" nations are. So then - aren't they already living green?

Mack Ukich: Not enough The time for a green peace is over ,The peace did not work ,what we need now is the Green WARWe need to seperate the Enemies of the planet from the planet ,So that the friends of the planet can get on with taking care of the place In the interest of Humanity w! ho wants to go on living here ....Show more

Libby Berkovitch:

Bud Espenshade: no question, and i dunno what you are talking about.

Misty Vagle: They have used small amounts of violence before.

Aubrey Tirri: no....I don't know!

Olen Penhallurick: get clean to get green

Ismael Sixon: Only national wealth and the wealthy hinder green living. They talk to death, while continuing to squander our limited resources in order to line their pockets.

Marty Tichnell: yes

Rubi Romo: The greenpeace I know is that environmental activist group (with worldwide membership) dedicated to issues of climate change, genetic engineering, toxic waste, etc., etc. And while it is a "militant" group in the sense that it keeps close monitor of such activities unfriendly to green environment, greenpeacers do eschew (shun) violence. Your question, however, bothers me. At first glance, it seems like you're insinuating that the success of greenpeace woul! d altogether eradicate violence. And honestly, I don't think so. Gree! npeace, altho an advocate of non-violence, doesn't really have peace (as in "not war") as its primary mandate....Show more

Francisco Schonhardt: No question here. try googling Batease green energy.

Buddy Ardd: Greenpeace has already proven that they will use violence... and that they will do stupid stuff like parking a small boat right in front of an aircraft carrier that's going 12 knots.Rules of physics... an aircraft carrier at 12 knots takes over 3 miles to stop, and requires almost half a mile to turn enough to avoid something in its path. Only a moron would run a small boat in its path...Greenpeace puts small boats in the way of aircraft carriers on a regular basis... and then wonder why their boat got smashed....Show more

Lauri Ohl: Reduce reuse and recycle. Give a hoot don't pollute Make some cash recycle your trash Don't be mean go green Don't lack use recyclable sacks

Kara Tabian: We have been poor for a long time !!!! The entire nation. You are just being led to believe differently.

Sheree Hipwell: I guess it would depend...you start living a whole lot greener whenever the economy is so bad you can't pay for fuel or electricity. But other than that it depends on how bad the poverty is, alot of green technologies save you money in the long run it's just that the cost of buying that technology is more than it would be for existing tech.

Inell Riesgo: do you mean will it be a bigger issue then poverty probably because rich people with all the money to do things for the environment don't care about poor people.i think green living and saving the environment is more important then poverty because if we don't change now there wont be an earth for rich or poor

Jackelyn Archut: go green dont be mean i made that up

Hermina Ketring:

Zelma Casebier: Reduce, reuse, recycle. Duh!Be green. Live green. Go green. I made it up.
